What is a game jam?
A game jam is a challenge themed around video games, but can also relate to games in the broad sense.
Jammers gather in teams to create a game within a limited time, usually a weekend.
For whom?
Everyone! Beginner or expert, there is no skill requirement. The goal is to have fun and learn.
Jammer’s kit
For those who are afraid of forgetting something…
- Your sleeping bag
- A floor mat (or an inflatable mattress for those who like luxury)
- Enough to eat and drink (healthily?)
- Cutlery
- A cup or a canteen
- A tupperware/plate/mess kit
- A change of clothes/pyjamas/kigurumi
- Your phone charger
- A USB key (it will be useful…)
PCs will be available on site, you may bring your own if you wish! Consider bringing:
- The power strip
- The power cord
- An ethernet cable (WI-FI included for students)
